Faq: garlic butter oyster mushroom.
- Can I use button mushrooms instead of oyster mushrooms?
- Yes, not the canned versions but fresh mushrooms.
- Personally, I find oyster mushrooms absorb more flavour and when sauteed properly, give an earthy yet crispy texture.
- Can I double the oyster mushroom recipe?
- Yes, I use 2 packs of oyster mushrooms as they shrink in quantity.
- Make sure to use a large, heavy-bottomed pan as you want to spread them over the pan so they brown and turn crispy evenly.
- Why did my garlic butter oyster mushroom turn soggy and less crispy?
- If your mushrooms are soggy then you’ve used too much butter. if they are less crispy then the mushrooms have not been browned enough.
