Ingredients mentioned below use standard measuring cups and spoons.
5 large apples( peeled, cored, slice them thin)
1/2 cup of white granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon of ground Cinnamon
1 cup of all-purpose flour
1 cup of brown sugar
1/2 cup of cold cubed butter
Method
Grease pan lightly with a coat of butter.
Place the apple think apple slice on the bottom of the pan.
Mix granulated white sugar(1/2C) with cinnamon(1/2tsp), then spread the mix evenly over the apples.
How to make the crumble.
In a large bowl combine flour(1c) and brown sugar(1c), combine.
Add the cold cubed butter(1/2C)to the flour.
Combine and mix the flour with the butter until you have crumbly flour mixture.
Preheat the oven to 160C°.
While the oven preheats, spread the flour crumble over the apples. Slightly press down and even out the crumble over the apple slices.
Bake the apple crumble/crisp for an hour.
Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
