Ingredients for air fryer chicken strips.
The ingredients mentioned below use standard measuring cups and spoons.
500g of chicken tenders
1 and 1/2 teaspoons of paprika
1 and 1/2 teaspoons of onion powder
1 and 1/2 teaspoons of garlic powder
1 teaspoon of salt(use as needed if you are on a diet to reduce salt intake)
1 tablespoon of oil to be used as needed
How to air fry chicken strips with no breading
Make your chicken tenders by cutting a boneless chicken breast into strips.
If you are using precut frozen chicken strips then thaw them as per package instructions.
Pat dry and place the pieces of chicken in a bowl.
Add paprika(1 and 1/2 tsp), garlic powder(1 and 1/2 tsp), onion powder(1 and 1/2 tsp), salt to season.
Combine well and set aside for 20-30 minutes to marinate.
Once your chicken tenders are marinated, preheat the air fryer to 160C(320F) for 5 minutes.
Brush or spray a little oil in your air fryer basket mesh and place the chicken tender without over-crowding. you need to be careful here as the basket sides are hot.
Air fry at 160C for 7 minutes.
Turn the chicken tenders, brush each piece with oil, and air fry for another 5 minutes.
Shake the basket and air fry for another 2-3 minutes to make the chicken strips extra crispy.
Serve warm.
