- Once frozen, use your food processor to mince the beef cubes in small batches.

RECIPE DIFFICULTY-EASY
The ingredients to make minced curry.
The ingredients mentioned below use standard measuring cups and spoons.
4 tablespoons of oil
2 medium onions sliced fine
1 tablespoon of minced ginger(2″ ginger root minced)
2 tablespoons of minced garlic(5 garlic cloves minced)
1-2″ piece cinnamon
3 green banana pepper(substitute with 1 large bell pepper sliced, 3 green chillies chopped)
2 medium tomatoes chopped
700g of minced meat
1/2 a teaspoon of turmeric powder
Salt to season
1 teaspoon of fresh black pepper powder
2 teaspoons of red chilli powder
1 tablespoon of curry powder
1 teaspoon of coriander powder
1/2 a cup of coconut milk(add 1 cup of coconut milk for more gravy)
5-7 cloves of garlic(optional, add if you have a garlic lover who loves eating whole cloves)
How to cook minced beef curry.
Place a medium-large frying pan over low medium heat.
Pour in the oil(4 tbsp), once the oil heats, add sliced onions(2 medium), minced garlic(2 tbsps, about 5 cloves of garlic)minced, ginger(1 tbsp, about 2″ piece of root minced), cinnamon(1″-2″ piece).
Cook for 3-5 minutes until onions are soft, and ginger, garlic release their aroma.
Add the chopped tomatoes(2 medium).
And chopped banana peppers(3, substitute with 1 large sliced bell pepper or 3 green chillies chopped).
Cook for 3-4 minutes.
Once the tomatoes are soft, add the minced beef(700g)to the pan.
Add turmeric powder(1/2 tsp), and salt to season.
Cook and break down the minced beef while combining all the ingredients in the pan for 5-7 minutes.
Cook until all the moisture is released and cooked through.
Adding additional veggies to the minced curry.
If you are adding cubed potatoes(cut them into smaller cubes so they cook fast), peas, mixed vegetables add them at this point and continue to cook.
Reduce heat to low.
Add black pepper powder(1 tsp), red chilli powder(2 tsp), curry powder(1 tbsp)and coriander powder(1 tsp).
Cook for 3-5 minutes, constantly stir to avoid burning the spices.
Pour in the coconut milk(1/2 a cup if your coconut milk is thick or creamy, add 1/4 cup of water to dilute).
If you are adding extra cloves of garlic(5-7 or more, optional). add them at this point.
Combine the minced curry, taste and season with salt and additional pepper to taste.
Stir and continue to cook for 3-5 minutes.
Remove from stove, rest for 3 minutes serve while still warm.
